How is Pocket RCT supplied and installed?
Pocket RCT software comes on a CF (Compact Flash) or SD (Secure Digital) memory card. Installation is as simple as inserting the memory card and following the on-screen instructions. The installer starts automatically when you insert the memory card. We’ve found that a memory card is an easier install than any other method. No computer is needed, other than the Pocket PC handheld. Compaq iPAQ owners may need to purchase a CF card expansion jacket for under $40 (some models come with this jacket, non-Compaq modesl usually have a built-in CF slot). Niether the jacket nor a CF card is needed for normal use (tuning pianos), only for installation and upgrading Pocket RCT. Pocket RCT includes a CF or SD card, a printed manual, a CyberFork A440 pitch reference, online help, toll free phone help, free upgrades for one year (upgrade to version 3.5 and all releases for one year are guaranteed free) and the RCT video “Dean & Mitch Show”.
