PGP-PMP is also different from the PGPX programme. The focus of the PGPX programme is on management in the enterprise context. The PGP-PMP is focused on public management which is broadly understood as the management of government, public enterprises, international organizations, and non-government organizations besides policy formulation, regulation, and governance. The PGP-PMP programme has a core management course package that is similar to the “Building Blocks” module of PGPX. This module is followed by a public management and policy module. Other courses are in the form of electives and international attachment related courses which could add up to a concentration in the following areas: (a) Public Policy and Governance (b) Infrastructure Development and Financing and (c) Public Enterprise Management.
