Patagonia Sur will plant approximately 500,000 native species trees on its Valle Calfornia property in the Palena Province of Chilean Patagonia over the next three years. Each tree is expected to sequester, or neutralize, 0.35 tons of carbon dioxide over its lifetime, resulting in a total project offset of 171,500 tons.
