How is PASSPORT licensed when published from a Citrix Presentation Server or Microsoft Terminal Server?
Some 30% of PASSPORT PC TO HOST users access the Zephyr terminal emulation software from a Citrix platform. Any user with access to the appropriate terminal server can use PASSPORT without having to install and run the software on their local workstation. This model can deliver consider savings in terms of application delivery and management. This convenience, however, does not eliminate the requirement to secure a software license for each concurrent user that runs the Zephyr application. Every desktop that access the PASSPORT must acquire either a perpetual or subscription license of the Zephyr software.
