How is P/D/F grading different from normal grading?

0

With grading on a P/D/F basis, the passing grades of A, B, or C grades are compressed into a P (Pass) grade. Plus (+) and minus (-) grade modifiers do not affect the mapping of A, B, or C grades into a P grade. As such, P means C or better performance.
