• Matches the address of the damaged property and the name of the applicant(s) to the address and name on the 2005 property tax records as well as current tax records. If a match is found between an applicant and the tax records, ownership is established. • If there is not a tax match, an abbreviated title search is performed to see if the title records in the parish Clerk of Court’s office include the applicant and/or co-applicant as an owner. If a match is found, ownership is established.
