How is our water collected , treated and delivered to our homes?
The water treatment goes in 5 steps ,i learned this the other day in science class it goes screening this is when water goes through a wire mesh fence to remve large particles such as plastic bags ,twigs and other bits of trees then the water goes through settling this is when the water is put into large tanks until used allumion is then added to remove cloudyness in the water, the next stage is filtration this is when the water goes thorugh layers of sand the remove any small particles then the water goes trough chlourination this is when small amounts of chlorine is added to the water to kill any remaining bactiara then the water goes through the last stage which is flourination this is when flourine is added to the water the help prevent tooth decay ,then the water is brought to your house through pipes hope this helped.
