How is Osim doing in the current difficult economic climate?
SIM: Osim is doing OK. It is moving at a fast pace right now. The objective is clear. The strategy is also quite set. The structure and systems are in place. It’s up to management to lead with a high performance leadership. If they do that, then you can expect high performance growth in the next three to five years. At the moment, the downturn does not affect us much. The beauty of it is that the home healthcare business we are in is still at the infant stage. And we are the first mover, a pioneer in the industry. The downturn may affect the growth percentage, but it will not affect growth. I am still looking for a 30-40% increase a year. The effect of the slowdown may be to reduce this by 10% to 20-30%. AB: What about the share price? SIM: The share price of Singapore-listed Osim has dropped below its offer price of 52 Singapore cents and is now trading in the 30-40 cents range.
