How is Opus Dei involved in PALS?
YLF programs have Christian roots, with a particular affiliation to Opus Dei, a Catholic institution founded by Saint Josemara Escriv. Its mission is to help people turn their work and daily activities into occasions for growing closer to God, for serving others, and for improving society. Since this is the spirit in which the PALS program was first inspired, some of the PALS staff receives formation in the centers of Opus Dei so as to transmit this spirit to students.
