How is ONE related to international agreements such as the Millennium Development Goals?
March 21 2009 ONE is a grassroots campaign that, along with many other partners, supports the international effort to achieve the Millennium Development Goals (MDGs) by 2015. The eight Millennium Development Goals, agreed to in September 2000 by 189 nations, set a framework for how nations can work together to dramatically reduce extreme poverty while improving health, education, gender equality and other important living standards.
