How is OJT different from classroom training?
On the job training is usually done in the work environment by a job expert. In most cases, there are one or two trainees. The key differences are the number of trainees taught at a time and the use of media for delivering the information. Keep in mind that effective training methods are the same whether done on the job or in a classroom. For example, any training ought to have objectives, provide feedback, pace the training to trainee’s needs, etc.
