How is noise pollution related to air pollution?
Some pollution can involve both noise and air damage, at the same time. As example fireworks cause small particulate pollution. Fireworks can produce enough light and heat energy to also combine with the released gases to create ozone (usually requires sunlight-research done in India using just sparklers). If there is an expansion chamber in the design of pyrotechnics, noise can also be created, at very high dCBs. Internal combustion engines can pollute both through noise and sound. While Noise and Air pollution can be separate, it can also be inclusive. The effects of both are not well understood. Obviously too much noise can cause deafness in people. Recent research in Scandinavia suggests more damage than that from noise, and as for air pollution, thickening of the blood and birth defects seem to be implicated, based on research at several California universities and elsewhere.
