How is NIAMS funded?
NIAMS receives taxpayer funding from Congressional appropriations. Each year, NIAMS submits written testimony to the Congressional appropriations subcommittee about the research projects that the Institute has undertaken with past funding and the research it intends to pursue with future funds.
