How is NHS Gloucestershire coping with cases of flu and winter illnesses?
Winter is always a time when the pressures on the NHS in Gloucestershire increase. As the weather gets colder and we build up to Christmas, these demands will continue. We have robust systems in place to cope with this demand. Our contingency plans are well established and we work closely with GP practices, the hospitals trust and the ambulance service to ensure we have the capacity to meet the needs of patients.
