TCG is an industry standards body comprising system manufacturers, device manufacturers, software vendors and others with a stake in enhancing the overall security and trustworthiness of computing devices. TCG announced in April 2003 that it has adopted the technical specifications created by TCPA (TCPA has been discontinued). Microsoft is a founding member of TCG and anticipates that some of the industry standards being developed by the group will be incorporated into NGSCB.
