How is NAVSEA organized?
NAVSEA reports to the Chief of Naval Operations (CNO), who it turn is responsible for implementing orders from the Secretary of the Navy (please see attached org. chart). Within NAVSEA, there are numerous divisions: Comptroller, Contracts; Human Systems Integration; Logistics, Maintenance & Industrial Operations; Ship Design Integration & Engineering; Warfare Systems Engineering, Undersea Warfare, Corporate Operations, and Nuclear Propulsion.
