How is Natural England involved in Seahorse conservation?
Natural England has regulatory powers with regard to licensing of activities that may affect seahorses. We may be called upon to advise the police or other authorities on the protection of seahorses and their habitats. We contribute funding to projects furthering seahorse conservation and may be partners in these projects. We also campaign for greater protection of the marine environment.
