How is natural coastal erosion a problem?
Or are you talking about erosion based on destruction (AKA development) of coastal areas, which is a legitimate problem? If you’re referring to natural erosion, I say stop trying to “fix” nature. Same with the results of hurricanes/cyclones. Life is change and things like natural erosion and hurricanes are natural processes on Earth. Attempting to “fix” them will just cause more environmental harm. “Homeland security” is fascist police state crap and the only problem with it is that the agency exists at all. Threats to the U.S. are always grossly overblown in order to create more of a police state and build up the military-industrial complex, despite the once-in-a-lifetime 911. Algae blooms that cause dead zones are caused by agribusiness runoff, which is on my list of problems.
