How is narrow angle glaucoma treated?
The earlier treatment is begun, the better. If you are having an acute attack, the high pressure must be reduced as quickly as possible. You will be given medications as eye drops, injections into an arm vein, or by mouth. Once the attack is broken, eye drops alone may provide temporary control, but surgery will eventually be required to eliminate the potential for further attacks.
