MyCeliacID is a genetic test for celiac disease that can tell you whether you have the genes that predispose you to celiac disease. MyCeliacID cannot diagnose you with celiac disease. An antibody test detects the presence of antibodies associated with celiac disease. You must be on a gluten containing diet for the antibody test. MyCeliacID does not depend on diet.
