How is my rakeback calculated?
The different gaming sites use different methods of calculating rakeback, but the basic principle is the same: Your contribution to the rake is determined as the total rake in a dealt hand, divided by the number of players in that hand. So if the rake in a hand is $3 and six of you were dealt cards, your contribution is calculated as $0,50 (3 / 6 = 0,50), regardless of whether you win the pot or not. The gaming site then adds up the rake you have contributed during the rake period in question (usually a month), and you then get what is call the gross rake. From this sum your bonuses are deducted and you then get the net rake. Your net rake is multiplied by the rakeback percentage on that specific site, and the product is your rakeback!
