How is my information handled in Ripplex?
Ripplex is a client application, not a web service. All the information you entered is stored at your computer and not in a third party server. Only when you use “Synchronize” feature to synchronize your Ripplex address books on several computers, your data is stored on Ripplex server in encrypted form. It can only be decrypted by your private key which is stored in your computer so no one else but you, not even Ripplex Inc. can access your information. The disclosure of your information to your friends is totally under your control too. You decide who should see what information of yours. Your friends can then see the information you have disclosed without anyone else being able to preview it since it is only stored in your friend’s computer and your computer and all the messages between trusted links are encrypted.
