How is my husband accessing my emails on AOL without knowing the password?

Girlfriend, just change your ID name and password again. And when Yahoo emails you your new inforamtion print it out, hide it somewhere and delete the information from your email box. Now go to Tools and delete all files, all cookies and find history and delete anything that’s there. You might want to do this every time you go online because your husband has found out how to track and decode your system. Why would he want to voilate your privacy like that? Make sure to use a password with many numbers after the password mane, such as micknopy372957r. Don’t use common names or common numbers like your birthday, kids or any family members. Some browsers will automatically save your password for you. Check your settings and see did you mistakenly choose this method. Uncheck it, if you did. I’m sure you will be able to out smart your fox!

If you don’t have your system set to log you off completely and you have automatic sign in…all he has to do is bring up your email program. If he’s computer savvy he can locate your password in the registry or use a program that farms the passwords from the computer. There are a few ways at least… Ensure all your cookies and history are wiped off after each use of your browser, if that’s how you access your mail and always log out completely and deactivate the auto login. Other than that…create your own logon for the computer and password it so that you need to type the password in even before you can access your windows screen. Change your password on your AOL to a really convoluted one that consists of upper and lower case letters and numbers….make it lengthy enough that if he is using a system…he’ll need some patients to locate it again.

He can access your email without knowing your password. I don’t know an awful lot about AOL but if you sign on to the service with a saved name/pass then he would have access to your email. You may need to setup a new account outside of AOL (like gmail or msn) and make sure your password is not cached or saved. Also you may need to check if he installed a key logger.

What is your question?

*Sadly, we had to bring back ads too. Hopefully more targeted.
