How is my Empire Avenue Virtual Stock Price calculated?
When you first join Empire Avenue, your virtual stock price is set at 10.00 credits. This price is then increased or decreased by “Market Makers”, mathematical algorithms that analyze the buying and selling of your virtual shares, as well as your online activity. Some actions (like when someone buys virtual shares in you) will instantly increase your virtual stock price, while others (like you being active on Facebook, Twitter or Flickr) will not be reflected in your virtual stock price until the next day. Our Market Makers take a few days to learn about your online activity and as such your online activity will be reflected in your virtual share price over a period of a week.
