How is my donation used by the Tibetan Canadian Cultural Centre?
With the exception of one full-time paid staff member, our facility, programs, services and events are run entirely by the tireless efforts of volunteers. Your contribution directly supports the numerous programs and events geared to serve the community. In particular, we offer specialized learning opportunities to enrich the lives of students and learners; thereby, contributing to their economic and personal success. The TCCC is currently renovating. The purpose of the renovation and retrofit is to convert limited warehouse to enhanced community-based space for cultural, social, and physical activities. This will allow over 6,500 users to actively engage in the community. Our inspirational project involves economic revitalization through the creation of job opportunities and skills development in the community. Furthermore, our programs and events provide learning opportunities that enrich the lives of students and learners; thereby contributing to their personal and economic success.
