How is multiculturalism important to Canadas diversity?
“Multiculturalism” has destroyed Canadian identity. This was done deliberately and in good faith, with the intent of reducing the friction between French and English, but the effort has failed. Quebec is still withdrawn it to its “Frenchness” and will probably one day secede altogether. Meanwhile, The British roots of English Canada have been systematically destroyed, installing in its place only a cosmopolitan cultural mush. The multiculturalism fetish has reduced, not enhanced, the sense of community in Canada.
