HOW IS MULCH – SOIL – STONE MEASURED AND SOLD?
Mulch and Soil are sold in bulk by the cubic yard. A cubic yard measures 3’x3’x3′ and there are 27 cubic feet in a cubic yard. Bags of mulch are sold in either 1.5, 2.0, or 3.0 cubic foot bags. Stone and Sand are sold by the ton (2,000 lbs.). A ton of stone is approximately 3/4 of a cubic yard. See our ordering page to calculate how much you will need.
