Monitor Solution for Dell differs from SMS Level 3 Monitor solution, in that it only monitors hardware via the Dell OpenManageTM Server Administrator Agent (OMSA agent). Full Monitor Solution (included in SMS Level 3) monitors the OS & Applications. Both Windows and Linux servers can be monitored.
