How is money appropriated for abatement? Where does the money come from?

Most small abatement projects are paid for by UWM’s general maintenance fund. For larger projects we often submit “agency requests” to the Department of Administration-Division of Facilities Development (DOA-DFD). Other projects, like building renovations are automatically paid for by DOA-DFD.
