How is MIT TechTV different from AMPS streaming?
Videos delivered by MIT TechTV use a technology called “progressive download.” This effectively means that your video is downloaded to their computers (but not necessarily saved; most videos on MIT TechTV, however, are also offered for regular download). AMPS streaming does not allow a video to be downloaded to the viewers computer. Note that AMPS streaming is a fee-based service.
