How is MetaLib different from Google Scholar?
Google is a general web search engine and as such will find material freely available on the web. There is no guarantee that if you search for information using Google that you will be searching all the possible sources open to you, that you will be able to see the full text and that you are seeing the final published version. In contrast, MetaLib presents information resources selected and paid for by the Library because they are known to be accurate and reliable. The SFX button within each record will link you to the full text on the publisher’s website.
