How is medium wage calculated?
Median wage is a measure of central tendency in the distribution of wages in the population. It is the value above which and below which half of the cases fall, the wage of the individual for whom it holds that half of the population earns more, and half of the population earns less, than he or she does. I tis also called the 50th percentile and it is not sensitive to outlying values.
