How is Meals on Wheels of the Salinas Valley staffed?
We employ 4.5 full time equivalents. Full-time staff includes the Executive Director, Office Manager, and Program Manager. The Bookkeeper, Rural Program Coordinator, and Salinas Program Coordinator all work part-time. Most of the meal delivery is done by volunteers. We have about 150 active volunteers who deliver meals and serve on committees and the Board of Directors.
