How is MaUSECat different than other articulation software?
In terms of design, there are three features that distinguish MaUSECat: • It’s free (though you have to buy a copy of Adobe Photoshop Elements 6 or 7, so perhaps we should say it’s very inexpensive) • It’s very flexible. You can change the photos and videos, add new ones, change the way words are tagged, and create new albums. • You can use it to create new materials in electronic or hard copy form. These materials can be used independently of the software and for home practice. • It is based on a linguistic model used in Computerized Profiling, software for language and phonological analysis by the same author.
