How is make-up work handled for absences?
Regular attendance is absolutely essential for school success. If your child is out for one or two days, I will send work home with your child on the day that they return. If there is a prolonged absence, please call and we can work together to help you child continue to progress with the class while they are home. Make-up work needs to be completed and returned as soon aspossible. A good rule of thumb is one day to complete the assignment for each day of absence. If your child misses one day of school, I would expect the make-up work to be completed the second day after their return.
