How is LongTail Neighborhoods different than the project section of LongTail Grants?
LongTail Neighborhoods offers individuals who have completed or are working on current projects the ability to gain recognition and searchability on a centralized platform. This is a Google Mashup for local community projects – a place where you can search for what is happening in your neighborhood. There is no formal “application” process to submit a project to LongTail Neighborhoods (as there is in LongTail Grants). However, LongTail Grants management will review all submissions and will delete any inappropriate or offensive projects.
