How is leave restored if the employee being reinstated had over 45 days of annual leave at the time of the RIF?

An employee may buy back all, some, or none of his annual leave upon reinstatement. Therefore, all annual leave in excess of 45 days is restored ONLY if the employee buys back all of the annual leave which was paid out at the time of the RIF.
