How is LAMOT different from other weekly divisions?

0

Traditionally any track’s owner/promoter and head tech inspector oversaw any competition related issues such as rule enforcement or rule changes. Upon analysis it was agreed that a collaborative effort can benefit both parties (i.e. Holland and the Late Model division) by working together to promote the Late Model division as well as racing at Holland Speedway. In recent past tracks that saw less cars running every week and less cars moving up into the Late Model division each year, were due to old expensive rule books and a lack of control over those rules. Therefore, input from an organized group of experienced Late Model division members to any track is an asset to maintaining the cost of racing in today’s economy. LAMOT was truly created as the Car of Tomorrow, by drivers for drivers. Cost effective rules that are strictly enforced are needed if the Late Model class is to survive for years to come.
