How is joining Party Club of America different from becoming a franchised party store?
A. The most important thing to consider is COST! Franchises are an expensive way for people to get into the party business. In many industries, brand and name identification coupled with national advertising is an instant formula for success and serves almost as an insurance policy for the large capital investment you are making. But in the party business, there is very little name brand recognition or national advertising. As a franchisee, you pay a lot of money up front and sign agreements where you will have to pay as much as 5% (or more) of your gross sales to the franchisor on a weekly or monthly basis for 10 years or more. By comparison, the cost to join PCA is very reasonable. You do not pay a percentage of your sales to us, and we dont ask for a long-term commitment.
