How is john d rockefeller a greedy man?
J. D. Rockefeller Senior basically invented the word “monopoly”, his company Standard Oil had their hands in so many different industries that the Supreme Court was eventually forced to act in 1911, and force the company to fragment. While some may claim he donated to charities and such, most of that wealth was “laundered” through said charities and other public systems to help escape taxing of his enormous wealth. Not only that, but donating to said areas of the public helped him keep him in good image with the public. After all, philanthropy is the best shield against the public when it comes to the money. He even managed to monopolize philanthropy as well.
