How is Jason in Medea a tragic hero?
Jason’s forte was his ambition. This ambition motivated him to do great deeds in search of status, wealth and power. But, he was overly ambitious in rejecting his wife and children for the status, wealth and power he could enjoy by marrying Creusa, a kings daughter.
