How is Japan as a country for Pharmaceutical Exports?
According to WTO statistics, Japan was the 5th largest pharmaceutical importer in the World in 2007 (EU counting as one market). Japan’s total imports for the year was 9.2 billion USD with an increase of 8% compared to 2006. While its growth potential is not as interesting as that of countries like Russia, Ukraine and China, Japan is still a major export market for pharmaceutical products.
