How is Jane Austen like her characters?

I am sorry but “becoming Jane” (that is mentioned above) is not at all like Jane Austen the writer. She would really laughed if she had ever seen it. It was part of “Pride and Prejudice” with some biographical elements mostly as far as names are concerned. Jane Austen was witty and independent and shrewd and observant something most of her heroines are (apart from Emma which was a sport of hers “I am going to make a heroine no one will like except me”).
