How is it we can send people into space, but can stop illegal immigration?
It is easier to send 6 people into space than it is to catch millions sneaking over the border. If our government would fund more immigration laws and actually enforce them, we would be better off. Right now they are just brushing it under the rug. My idea is to scare them. Fine all employers who hire them. This would cut back on illegal hiring, and they would have no reason to come here. Next, severely punish all illegals when caught. They are not afraid of our judicial system here right now, so if we up the punishment, they would think twice about sneaking in here. And last, cut off all free health care for the children they have while in the US. If they had to pay for their own health care like americans do, they would stay in their own country.
