How is it that such reprehensible and morally twisted institution as is the Catholic church?
Your leading question assumes the Catholic Church is “morally twisted.” I ask you to show me one official teaching of the Catholic Church that is “morally twisted.” I agree that some members of the Catholic Church act in “morally twisted” ways that are counter to the principles and morals of the Catholic Church. But does that make the entire almost 2,000 year old Church with over one billion living members and God knows members in heaven “morally twisted?” No. In every population of human beings are going to a few sick or evil people who commit horrible crimes, even in the Church. These few terrible people do not negate the faith, hope and love of over one billion Catholics. The Church is neither the Church hierarchy nor the priests. The Church is God and His relationship with over one billion living Catholics on Earth and God only knows how many in heaven, all of whom make up the Body of Christ. Its three main heresies are Ecumenism, Religious Liberty and Defectibility, (condemned by Trent and Vatican 1870 Councils) Christ teaches His Church is Perfect and Indefectible, and it is opposed to the world, the flesh and the devil, that Catholics are the True Faith and that others are not.
