How is it possible to teach English in Thailand or China, when you can speak their language?
There are methods of teaching, where you don’t use any of their native language, using acting to get the idea across (i.e. walking in and out of a door, while saying “hello” and “goodbye”). Generally most people only teach students with some grasp on English though, or with another teacher helping, who speaks the language natively.
