How is it different playing college lacrosse from high school lacrosse?
Lacrosse in college is much more intense. My team plays all year long. We have practice in the fall with a tournament at the end of the six week period. We have to do additional cardio six days a week for about 45 minutes each day and we have to lift three times a week. When we are in season we practice for three hours each day and continue with the same cardio and lifting work out as in the fall. We rarely stop moving at practice. I have never worked so hard before in my entire life. Every position on the field is earned, it does not matter what year the girl is in. I have seen my coach sit a senior to play a freshman. It is very competitive. Everyone on the team is there to play and to win. My team in high school was not one of the top teams but in college TCNJ Lacrosse is ranked in the top four teams in the country. We have the same ultimate goal every year and that is to win a National Championship. If we do not fulfill this goal then we feel our season has not been completely succ
