How is Israel handling individuals who do not want to leave Gaza and the Northern West Bank?
• Thousands of people who have settled in Gaza and the West Bank are now being asked to leave. Israeli officials are making arrangements for these Israelis to be absorbed into communities outside of Gaza and the West Bank. The evacuation will be extremely difficult for all of these citizens, and many may not leave voluntarily. • Israeli security forces are working with supporters and protesters to keep the environment safe, respectful and calm, while still enforcing the policies of the democratic government. Is there anything I can do to support the Israeli people and government and and to understand the situation better at this critical time? • Speak with friends and colleagues about the significance of the sacrifices Israel is making.
