How is installation and administration performed on the CacheQube?
Like other Cobalt products, the CacheQube features an easy-to-use web-based graphical administrative interface. This interface handles most configuration and administrative tasks. A few tasks, such as assigning the CacheQube’s IP address(es), are done through a simple LCD interface on the back of the CacheQube. Finally, advanced administration is possible through telnet. Like other Cobalt products, the CacheQube runs Linux, so anyone with UNIX/Linux system administration experience can, if desired, make arbitrarily-detailed administrative changes to the system.
