How is Impingement syndrome different from shoulder bursitis and rotator cuff tendinitis?
Impingement syndrome – the top bone in your shoulder is rough on the bottom and is scratching and irritating/pinching the tissue underneath. shoulder bursitis – the bursa sacs are inflamed. rotator cuff tendinitis – this is inflammation in one of the tendons in your shoulder. You can also get a tear in one of these tendons – that really hurts.
